News: Legal News Canada

The most recent legal news Canada has released is regarding the fugitive Tunisian. The Canadian authorities are planning on extraditing the billionaire brother in law of the recently deposed Zine El Abidine Ben Ali
The Foreign Affairs Minister Lawrence Cannon states that Canada does not wish to provide refuge for criminals like Belhassen Trabelsi. This is in response to the recent arrest warrants for the family members of the recently deposed dictator. This is due to the corrupt and illegal activities of their family business ventures while the dictator was still in power.
Albeit that, there is no treaty between Canada and Tunisia regarding extradition and deportation, therefore it may take up to 6 months for the Tunisian authorities to get what they want.
